About Kerry

Dr. Kerry Mack is a senior General and Perinatal Psychiatrist and psychotherapist consulting at Northpark Private Hospital, Bundoora. Kerry is committed to providing the best care she can to a wide range people with psychiatric difficulties. Consulting from her rooms she provides private sessions Kerry provides help and care for adult outpatient and inpatients at Northpark in the Early parenting Unit and the adult ward at Northpark.
As a senior psychiatrist Dr. Mack provides second opinions for other psychiatrists, mentoring and supervision for junior consultants and trainees, including psychotherapy. Her services include admission and care for patients of other psychiatrists who do not care for inpatients.
Kerry completed her medical degree at Flinders University, Adelaide. Kerry completed her psychiatric training in 1992, during which time she developed a professional interest in perinatal psychiatry. 1993 Kerry accepted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.
Her career roles include:
- Consultant in Charge of the Mother baby unit at Larundel hospital and the Austin and Repatriation Hospital.
- Consultant at EPIC, the young peoples’ psychiatry service headed by Professor Pat McGorry.
The psychiatric care Kerry applies an evidence based approach to care with appropriate medicines and psychotherapy.
In addition to focus on a strong doctor – patient relationship Kerry believes clear communication with other care providers including GPs and psychologists is paramount.

Personal:
Kerry a deeply caring woman who grew up in rural South Australia. Today, Kerry a mother of two lives rural property about ninety minutes north of Melbourne Thus she has a strong affinity not only to rural people.
Aside from her love of family and home, Kerry has a deep involvement with equestrian sports competing at an elite level in dressage, she and have served this community as a member of the Australian Dressage Committee of Equestrian Australia, and the Para-Equestrian panel of Equestrian Australia., as well as many other committee and volunteer roles.
