Telehealth
Telehealth is healthcare provided by using video consultation. Dr Kerry Mack uses the telehealth platform COVIU which allows a friendly secure personal connection.
Telehealth consultations are:
- Quick and Easy to set up
- Secure with end to end encryption
- Absolutely private with no video data stored
As of 1 January 2022, Medicare Telehealth arrangements have become ongoing. Medicare provides a wide range of telephone and video services for general practitioners (GPs) and consultant physicians
Telehealth makes it easier to attend appointments and benefit from Dr Mack’s care.
If you are unable to travel, live in rural or regional area you are able to access regular high-quality care that would have otherwise been beyond their reach.
What you need:
- A computer, tablet/iPad or smart phone with a camera, microphone, speakers and a reliable internet connection
- A quiet, private well-lit room is best. We recommend you do not access telehealth in public areas or use unsecured wi-fi
- Have a pen and paper available in case you need to write anything down during your appointments.
Minimum Device Requirements:
- Windows PC i5 processor with 3GB of RAM Windows 7 or later
- Apple Mac i5 processor and 3GB of RAM MacOS 10.12 (Sierra) or later
- Android tablet or smartphone Android 5.1 or later
- Apple iPhone or iPad iOS 12 or later
